Since the Mega Auction is coming up soon, I thought why not make a post on which players the 10 teams would like to buy and why would they pick that particular player. Let’s get on with the post! In this post, I will be talking about CSK. Slowly I will talk about other teams also.
1. Faf Du Plessis:
I am still unable to understand why they would release Faf of all players. Faf has been one of CSK’s most iconic batsmen. In the 2021 IPL, he was just two runs away from winning the Orange Cap. I am pretty sure CSK will want to buy him in the Mega auction.
2. Suresh Raina: (Chinna Thala):
Suresh Raina has been CSK’s most dominant batsman upfront he has scored over 5000 runs for CSK in the 13 years he has played for CSK. Even though he is not one of the main pics for CSK I have a strong feeling that they’ll buy him the Mega Auction. After all, he is the Chinna Thala of CSK.
Dwayne Bravo:
DJ Bravo has been a really good and useful all-rounder for CSK. He has played for the franchise since 2011 and he has won the purple cap twice. And DJ. Bravo is one of CSK’s most important death bowlers. DJ Bravo has also been a very useful batsman for CSK. For example against MI in 2018, CSK looked like it was going to be thrashed, but Bravo came made a fabulous 67 and won the match for CSK. Not only CSK many other teams will also be targeting Bravo.
4. David Warner:
By chance, if Faf Du Plessis is bought by another team, CSK will definitely look for a suitable replacement. And David Warner is definitely a suitable replacement. Now his batting has also become superb again, like DJ Bravo even David Warner will be targetted by many teams.
5. Yuzvendra Chahal:
Yuzvendra Chahal would be a great addition to CSK’s squad. His bowling is just excellent and it would make CSK’s spin bowling much more stable. He can bowl whatever variation you ask him to bowl. And he will even be reunited with his Bhai (MSD). Even Chahal will be targeted by many teams.
