Hey Guys, Welcome back to SlogVlog! As I said in the last post, I will be doing a post on the new Lucknow-based franchise. I’ll do an Ahmadabad a little later. Anyways, in this post we’ll be discussing the 4 Big Players Lucknow can target in the Mega Auction. Let’s get going!
1) KL Rahul:
KL Rahul has been all over the news, the rumors of him leaving Punjab are true the Co-Owner of PBKS Mr. Ness Wadia in a news report confirmed that KL Rahul has left Punjab. But it’s not fully confirmed yet that he has signed a contract with Lucknow. Rahul could be a great addition to Lucknow, with his brief experience as captain of PBKS could even make him the captain of the team.
2) Bhuvneshwar Kumar:
Bhuvneshwar Kumar could be a great addition to the Lucknow Franchise. His brilliant bowling skills can even make him the main bowler of the side. He can bowl wherever you ask him to bowl. Like at the start of the innings or in the last over of the innings. He will be one of the bowlers who will definitely be targeted by many teams.
3) Rashid Khan:
Rashid Khan will for sure be a targetted player in the auction. He was released by SRH on 30th November. SRH said that they might buy him again in the auction, but I don’t think they will buy him back. And I am pretty sure Lucknow or Ahmadabad will go for him because of his superb spin bowling. He could be the main spinner of their squad. Maybe even the main bowler.
4) Faf Du Plessis:
Faf will definitely be targeted by many teams, I am 100% sure about that, and I can even assure you one of the new franchises will go for him. Faf has been phenomenal for CSK over the years. However, they surprisingly release him. If Lucknow buys him not only will they have a fantastic Batsman/Fielder, they will also have a really good captain. Faf has had experiences as captain with the South African cricket team, and with those experiences as captain, he will definitely be a huge advantage to the new franchises.
