WOW! What a magnificent win by South Africa against India. They executed everything which they had planned to do perfectly. While on the other hand, India couldn’t do much, could they. Their bowling was bad, and they couldn’t stop Temba Bavuma and Rassie Van Der Dussen. Their batting was so good, and they made it look effortless. It was like they were playing a video game or something. Both India’s bowling and batting were bad, or in other words, it was awful. As I said above, the bowling couldn’t stop the South African batsman, and the batting only Virat Kohli, Shikhar Dhawan and Shardul Thakur played well. Shardul Thakur, who is almost a tailender, played better than 90% of the Indian batsman. So that means 3/11 players batted the best. The other seven team players scored less than 20 runs if you look at the scoreboard. (Yuzvendra Chahal didn’t bat) Wait, I’ll type the scores of all the Indian players.
- KL Rahul- 12
- Shikhar Dhawan- 79
- Virat Kohli- 51
- Rishabh Pant- 16
- Shreyas Iyer- 17
- Venkatesh Iyer- 2
- Ravichandran Ashwin- 7
- Shardul Thakur- 50*
- Bhuvneshwar Kumar- 4
- Jasprit Bumrah- 14
- Yuzvendra Chahal- Didn’t bat.
Highest strike-rate- 116.28- Shardul Thakur.
So seeing the scores of the Indian players, I think they have to work on their batting. This was the same problem in the 2nd and 3rd tests; their batting was terrible.

Weather Report:
According to weather reports, it will be sunny in Boland Park on Friday. So no rain is expected.
Pitch Report:
As I said in the last post, the Boland Park pitch is batting-friendly. And we got a view of the pitch previous match itself. So, of course, when you win the toss, you should elect to bat first. Put some runs on the board and defend it like South Africa did yesterday. After seeing yesterday’s match will be about 265-285. A good score will be 285-300, and a great score will be 300+.
Prediction:
We are picking South Africa to win this match because of the confidence and the body spirit against India in the last match. We haven’t seen such a confident South Africa in a long time. But now they have to be careful because India HAS to win this match to stay in the series. And when India HAS to win this match, they are one of the most dangerous teams in the world. They will play their best cricket possible in the second ODI. So South Africa will have to be a bit careful. Anyways, Good Luck to both teams.
