Hey Guys, Welcome back to SlogVlog! Let’s start the post! In today’s post, we will be doing a preview for the 3rd ODI between SA and IND. We’ll first start with a short review of the 2nd ODI, and we’ll look at what the losing team did wrong etc.

Now, I know you all may be thinking, why is my blogs name SlogVlog. I’ll tell you the story behind it. On Jan 28th, which was a Thursday, I got an idea of creating this blog. I got the idea from my best friend Pranav Reddy Sathi, who has a car blog called petrolgearheads (the link is below). So on Thursday afternoon, my father and I were talking on a video call, and I asked him:
“Ravi Daddy, I want to start a cricket blog.”
He said, “Sure, Bro”. And then he asked why etc., and I told him. I then told him the website I wanted to create my blog in needed money to create the blog. I thought he would disagree, but quickly he said, “Sure, bro, how much money do you need” I was surprised, and then we did all that and then we came to the name part. He told me that SlogBlog would be a nice name. Then I said okay, I typed that name, but some other person already took that name. So then he gave me an idea to name my blog SlogVlog. I know vlog means video, but still, I put that name. Anyways, now let’s get on with the post!
It was a disappointing performance from India in the 2nd ODI. They did improve in both the batting and bowling departments, but they couldn’t stop the South Africa batting lineup. India’s batting was good in this match, but their bowling was okay. Their bowling in the late middle and the last ten overs was pretty good. But their bowling started was bad. Bhuvneshwar Kumar, of all people, gave 40 runs in his 1st four overs! And then Ravichandran Ashwin gave 68 runs in the ten overs he bowled! Ashwin’s economy was 6.80, and Bhuvi’s economy was 8.38. Poor bowling from both of these fine bowlers. Wait, I’ll type the bowling order.

I replaced Shreyas Iyer and Venkatesh Iyer because of there dissapointing batting performances.

According to the weather reports, the weather in Cape Town is sunny. So no rain is expected and also not mich dew will be there.
Pitch Report:
The Newlands Cricket Ground is a bowling friendly pitch. Seamers will have a lot of fun bowling over here. In this match, the batsman has to be on their toes, and they will have to put in some extra effort. And it is a sunny day today in cape town, so you can’t expect much due. So the batsman will have to maintain the basics of batting and hit only when there is a pressure situation or when the bowler gives a loose ball. The average score in the first innings is around 235. So this score tells us how cruel the pitch can be towards the batsman. So the average score is 235 a good score will be 245-250 a brilliant score will be 265+.

Prediction:
We are picking South Africa to win this match because not only they have won the series, but they’ll do anything possible to win this ODI and beat them 3-0. On the other hand, India already has the pressure for trying not to get beaten 3-0. But maybe this match won’t be an easy win for South Africa because India, as I said, will play their best cricket not to get clean swept by South Africa. India might also start testing a few new strategies, or they might change their squad in this match and see if it works; then, they might use the same approach against West Indies so that they don’t get beaten by West Indies. This is what I think. I don’t know whether they will do it or not. Anyways Good Luck To Both Teams!
