Hey Guys, welcome back to SlogVlog! In today’s post, we will talk about 6 players who can make big money in this years IPL auction. Before starting the position, let’s congratulate India for clinching the ODI series. Anyways, let us get on with the post, shall we? I think we should, so let’s start.
1. Faf Du Plessis
All the world’s CSK fans must have been stunned and sad that CSK didn’t retain Faf Du Plessis for the 2022 Tata IPL. So that meant that Faf would be in the auction, and for sure, he would make big money. He has been in spectacular form for the past 2 years and will be making big money in this auction. I am sure the new teams with a massive amount of 90 crores to spend this year will target this spectacular batsman in the auction. I am sure many CSK fans will want Faf to come back to CSK (including me), but we have to agree that the new teams will target these big players like Faf etc. And the teams’ names are Gujurat Titans and Lucknow Super Giants.
2. Shreyas Iyer:
Shreyas Iyer has been one of Delhi’s most prominent players. However, since they decided to release big teams like KKR are targeting him because they can get a new captain in the form of Shreyas Iyer. I am sure many other teams will also try and buy him in the auction and I think he will get a lot of money from whichever team buys him.
3. David Warner:
David Warner was in Really bad form in IPL 2021. He was in such bad form that he was dropped from the playing 11 and he didn’t even come to the stadium. That was a really sad phase for the fans. But the good news is that now David Warner is now better than ever. He has got his form back, and now he is ready and roaring to play for his new IPL team. Now, after seeing his performances in the T20 World Cup and the Ashes it is clear that he is going to be targeted by many teams. I am sure that he’ll earn some big money.
4. Devdutt Padikkal:
Devdutt Padikkal was one of RCB’s main batsmen in the past 2 years. He hit many half-centuries and he even hit one century against RR. Devdutt Padikkal will definitely earn some money. He has had good performances in the domestic circuit also. So many teams will target him.
5. Yuzvendra Chahal:
Yuzvendra Chahal was a part of Royal Challengers Bangalore for 7 years before he was released last year on November 30th. And now he is in red hot form and he is taking wickets and performing consistently. I am sure if he continues this brilliant form he will shine for whichever team he plays for. I am sure Chahal will get quite a lot of money in this Mega Auction.
6. Harshal Patel:
I am sure all of you were surprised when RCB didn’t retain the star bowler Harshal Patel. Even I was surprised. Harshal Patel has been in very good form and he made a record by taking 32 wickets in just 16 matches in the 2021 Vivo IPL. I am sure many teams will want him to play for them.
