Sup guys welcome back to my blog SlogVlog! In this post, we will talk about what a cricketer’s basic diet is supposed to be for teens. It is a basic diet for becoming fit and not sacrificing what you like. For example, I like Non-Veg a lot but I don’t eat it 24/7 (maybe I do). So this is a basic diet plan or a routine for young teens. Let’s start. And the unlike me part in the title is not true. (Maybe it is but IDK)
Morning:
Breakfast:
Mornings are the most important. The meal you eat in the morning will give you the energy you eat. But, I would not recommend you to do this intermittent fasting like my Mom. If she eats 2 minutes after 8:00 PM she will not touch a single fruit or snack until 15 hrs after 8:00 PM. So if she eats at 8:30 she will starve herself.
You should eat breakfast like a maharaja (King) Eat peacefully and enjoy. And forget the exercise part. Right now everyone is again going to offline school so there I am sure you will run with your friends and play with them and that will be enough. Those carbohydrates will give you the energy for the 1st half of the day.
Afternoon:
Lunch:
Lunch is what gives you the energy to handle the rest of the day. If you eat a healthy and tasty lunch you will get the energy you need to have. Lunch you should eat like a prince. Good and healthy and get ready for the day. Lunch you should eat almost everything. Carbs, protein, fat, fibre. Since my school serves lunch I don’t take lunch from home. So what they usually give is some curry like dal or sambar or rasam etc and then they give some rice and then some vegetables like beans, drumstick etc. That gives all the carbs, protein, fat etc.
And you should have the right amount. Like don’t over eat a lot otherwise you will end up bursting bombs in the washroom. After lunch also you don’t need to worry about exercise that much because then you would go down to play or talk with your friends and walk with them. So you will burn all those calories while playing with them. Supposed you go to some sports class or something then while playing the sport automatically you will burn the calories. So no need to worry about that.
Snack:
I am pretty sure everyone does have a small snack after lunch right? I mean like it gives you little extra energy because of the carbs. Well if you don’t have it then that’s up to you.
Night:
Now comes the most relaxing meal of the day. Dinner. For dinner, you can’t eat a lot of food because then you will become a bit fat. Because after dinner you don’t go running or playing around. You relax after that do some HW if you have then relax see some TV or youtube and then go to sleep. So you can’t have a heavy dinner. What I usually eat is about 3 Rotis (Indian bread) and some curry like chicken curry or prawn curry or fish or mutton curry or Paneer curry or mixed veg curry or mushroom curry etc. I eat a bit of carb and even eat protein as Chicken gives you protein. You can have whatever you want but you should have the right amount.
After dinner according to me is the best thing SLEEPING. The sleep rests your whole body for about 8 hours and makes it ready for the next day. For example, you eat dinner and then when you sleep and rest your body the body digests the food and creates waste material which you have to throw into the bin the next day. I hope you know what I mean by bin and waste material. And then it makes you hungry for you to eat breakfast etc.
One more important thing is to have all the meals at the right time. Like you can’t have breakfast at 11:00 or 11:30 and then have lunch at 3:30 or 4:00 and then have your snack at 7:30 and then eat dinner around 10:30-11:00. That’s just messed up. Sometimes the body doesn’t digest the food properly in time and then your waste material won’t be formed and then you will end up going in school in the middle of some class. So eat on time. Like if it is a weekday I eat my breakfast around 7:20 to 7:30 or 7:40 and then I eat my lunch around 12:30 and then snack around 5:30 and then my dinner finish by 9:30 max. 9:30 because I go to play at least for 2.5 hours like I go to play at 6:30 and return around 9:00 to 9:15. So always maintain the timing.
And you should enjoy weekends.
Anyways, that’s it for this post. Hope you have a great weekend and a great week.
Until Next Time! Bye!
Thank You!
