Hey Guys, Welcome Back To SlogVlog! These past few months have been extremely tough for Virat Kohli. He has been through a rough patch and leaves scoring 50s. He is not even able to get to 30 runs. He starts his innings, giving us hope that he will score big, but then he always gets out. So today, I will be telling my opinion even though I know it won’t be noticed. So let’s start…
A Little About VK:
Virat Kohli is one of the greatest batsmen of all time, and I think we can all agree on that. He is the only one who can beat Sachin Tendulkar’s record right now. He has about 70 centuries to his name, 27 Test Centuries and 43 ODI Centuries. He even has the record for the fastest to reach 10,000 runs in ODI cricket and the record for most runs in an IPL season (973 runs in the 2016 IPL).
He has not scored an international century since his last ODI century against West Indies in 2019 and his last Test century against Bangladesh in 2019.
He was the Captain of the Test team from 2014 to early 2022, and he was captain of the ODI and T20 sides from 2017 to 2021. He also captained his IPL team RCB from 2013 to 2021.
My Opinion On Virat Kohli’s Bad Form:
First, he doesn’t need to be dropped, and he won’t be dropped. He has performed so consistently for team India for 13 years. He was celebrated until now, and now he is going through a rough patch, and people want to drop him instead of supporting him. Even MS. Dhoni was going through a rough patch in 2018, but he wasn’t dropped. His performance was horrible throughout 2018 (Except for the IPL), so why wasn’t he dropped? Now the same is happening with VK, so people want him to be dropped instead of supporting him. Absolutely Ridiculous! He deserves to be in the Indian team!
