Anil Kumble on August 25th, 2022 was sacked as coach of Punjab Kings. So in this post we will be looking at 3 possible replacements for Anil Kumble. Let’s start with the post.

1. Ravi Shastri:

Ravi Shastri can possibly be one of the coach options for Punjab Kings. He has coached Team India for almost 5 years and he has a good amount of coaching experience. In his term as coach, Team India had historic wins such as the Test Series victory against Australia in 2018 and 2021. He will be a good coach for sure. That I can guarantee you.

2. Eoin Morgan:

Eoin Morgan who just recently retired from International Cricket can be a good option as coach. He was the captain of the English cricket team for quite some time and also led them to a phenomenal victory against New Zealand in the 2019 World Cup final and helped England lift their first ever World Cup. He does know how to lead a team, so maybe those leading skills can also lead Punjab to their first IPL trophy win, but this time as a coach. He would be a good option according to me.

3. Trevor Bayliss:

Trevor Bayliss, can be a phenomenal pick for Punjab. He has coached Sri Lanka and England and also helped England lift their maiden World Cup in 2019. He has also coached franchise cricket teams and county cricket teams like New South Wales, Kolkata Knight Riders and Sydney Sixers & Sunrises Hyderabad. So, if Punjab pick him, they won’r regret it. He has so much coaching experience that no other coach in the list can beat him in coaching. I can’t assure you that Punjab will win though… they will get better under a brilliant coach like him, but I can’t assure you that they will win the IPL.
