Hey guys, as I said, I will be doing a post for Virat Kohli. So here it is! One hundred for each format!
1. 122 VS Afghanistan, Asia Cup 2022:
For me, this will be one of the most special centuries of Virat Kohli. This is the century which made the king rise again!
He came opening this match with KL Rahul as Rohit Sharma decided to sit out for this match. He came opening after a long time, and Oh My God, the start he and Rahul gave to India was awesome! From over one, he started smacking every bowler black and blue. In my view, this is one of his best centuries so far.
2. 254* VS South Africa, 2019:
This inning of Kohli is definitely one of his best centuries. This came against South Africa in 2019. He faced a massive 336 balls to achieve this brilliant century, but the wait was worth it. This innings, in my view, is one of his best innings. This inning was awarded INNINGS OF THE YEAR because truly it was the inning of the year.
3. 183 VS Pakistan, Asia Cup 2012:
Just after the tri-series in Australia, where Virat Kohli played his best innings, soon after Virat Kohli played a tremendous knock of 183 against Pakistan in the Asia Cup. This was when Virat Kohli’s prime was just taking off. India had to chase a total of 330, and this classic vintage Kohli inning helped them win comfortably. He hit 22 fours and 2 sixes. Gautam Gambhir got out for a duck in the first over itself; after that, it was Kohi, Tendulkar and Rohit Sharma who carried India to victory. Mainly Kohli.
