The Newlands Cricket pitch is a pitch was favours the bowlers a lot. Especially the seamers. The pitch in Newlands provides extra bounce, which makes it easier for the bowler to ball. This pitch is a bit unique because it helps the spinners also. This pitch is one of the most bowling friendly pitches in the world. So, what i would recommend is that which team which wins the toss should choose to bowl first.
Prediction:
Though South Africa have the home advantage, we feel that Australia will beat them and win the T20 WC for the 6th time. Two very simple reasons-
- Australia have qualified for the Women’s T20 WC finals 7 times and have won it 5 times until now. They know what it is. The feeling. They have experienced this feeling 7 times in a row now.
- They also beat South Africa convincingly in their last game of the group stage. So they would have that confidence also.
