Stats: KKR VS SRH:-

Weather Report:

According to weather reports, Chennai is expected to be rain-free with a temperature of 34°C at 7:00 PM. As always, Chennai will be humid, but the final will most likely proceed without rain interruptions, unlike the 2023 final between CSK and GT. However, it’s worth noting that a sudden rainfall yesterday canceled KKR’s practice session. Additionally, according to the Times of India, there is a minor cyclone threat due to Cyclone Remal’s activity in the northern Bay of Bengal, which could potentially affect the final, but it’s a really minor threat, so no reason to panic.

Pitch Report:

The pitch used in Qualifier 2 was a red-soiled strip, while today’s Final will be played on a black-soiled pitch. In Qualifier 2, the pitch was unevenly placed, resulting in uneven boundary dimensions. However, the pitch for today’s Final is more centrally placed, ensuring even boundary dimensions.

One of the big questions is: Will dew play a part in the Final? It didn’t affect the Qualifier 2 between SRH and RR, but with a solid 60% humidity today and some rain yesterday, dew is expected to play a role.

Prediction:

This one is tough to predict, with everything on the line, it’s going to be one of the best matches of the season. That’s why the two best teams of the IPL are in the final. Today, we’re backing Sunrisers Hyderabad. SRH have played brilliant cricket, especially against RR, with their bowlers perhaps for the first time this season outperforming their batsmen. With SRH’s bowlers hitting form at the perfect time, they have become an even more dangerous team.

It’s worth noting, however, that KKR have faced SRH twice this season and emerged victorious both times, including a dominant performance in Qualifier 1. Both teams are equally strong, making this a match truly worthy of the Final.

Will KKR recreate the magic of May 26th, 2012, and win the IPL 2024 On May 26th, 2024? Both the wins coming exactly 12 years apart, and on the same ground! Or will SRH prevail and win their 2nd IPL Trophy adding one more trophy to their cabinet and one more to Pat Cummins’ cabinet?

Until Next Time!
