IND VS IRE STATS:

Weather Reports:

It may be night here in the Indian subcontinent, but it’s morning in New York. The match is scheduled to take place from 10 AM to 2 PM, and the weather in New York is expected to be perfect for cricket. No rain is forecasted, and since it’s a day game, dew won’t be a factor.

Pitch Report:

Well, the ground is still like a newborn baby; we don’t know much about it yet. Very little cricket has been played at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium. Just this past Saturday, India played their only warm-up game against Bangladesh, scoring 182 and winning by 60 runs, restricting Bangladesh to 122-9 in their 20 overs. However, the match played here the day before yesterday between South Africa and Sri Lanka took a strange turn. Sri Lanka was bundled out for 77 runs, but it took South Africa 16.2 overs to chase the target, losing 4 wickets in the process. So, this pitch still remains a mystery!

Prediction:

Well, for obvious reasons, we are picking India for this match. India has entered as favorites for every ICC tournament over the past few years, and considering the sublime form of each of their players now, every team has to put in a little extra effort to beat India. All of India’s players had a successful IPL season, with the exception of Hardik Pandya, who struggled a bit but regained his form in the warm-up game this past Saturday. Additionally, India has beaten Ireland in every single T20I they have played so far.

Will Ireland pull of an incredible upset for the first time in cricket history or will India start off their T20 WC campaign with a win in New York? Tune into Disney+Hotstar at 8:00 PM IST to find out!

Until Next Time!

Thank you.
