It’s been a while since we last spoke. After a long break, we’re finally back—and this time, we’re here to stay. So, for the first time in nine months- Hello and welcome back to SlogVlog.
And what a moment to return.
As we witnessed yesterday, India have successfully defended their crown on home soil. In a historic achievement, India became the first team ever to win the T20 World Cup back-to-back. With this victory, they have also cemented their place as the most successful team in the tournament’s history, becoming the first side to lift the trophy three times.
Their triumphs now span nearly two decades of T20 cricket—2007, 2024, and 2026. It’s a remarkable achievement that highlights how the Indian team has evolved and adapted to the modern game. India has successfully moved through its transition period, and now they are back at the top, ready to dominate once again.
This title win in Ahmedabad for sure would’ve healed the wounds of November 19th, 2023 for the passionate Indian cricket fans.
Congratulations India and Suryakumar Yadav who is now a World Cup winning captain, joining an elite list.
