Top 4 Mahendra Singh Dhoni Innings:

WOW! Everything goes so fast, right?! It seemed only Yesterday Dhoni had made his Cricketing Debut, and he had suddenly retired. Over his 15 years illustrious career, he has had many great innings over the years. So today, we’ll cover his TOP 4 INNINGS cause if I cover all the innings, half my life will go away. I still can’t believe that Dhoni retired today ( sadly on my birthday . Anyways let’s get going.

1. 91* Against Sri Lanka In The 2011 Cricket World Cup Final:

Dhoni has had many great innings, but in my opinion, his best innings is the innings he played in the 2011 CWC Final.

Dhoni had promoted himself to NO. 4 when he saw Muralitharan bowling. He and Muralitharan were teammates in CSK, so he knew how he bowls. Dhoni had come and played a perfect inning staying till the end. Once Dhoni had got set, it was impossible to get him out. Dhoni helped India win the WORLD CUP when he hit one of the most iconic sixes in cricket history. He was 91* in that game, and he got the Man Of The Match Award for his superb innings.

2. 148 Against Pakistan, 2005:

This inning was like Dhoni’s rise from the ashes. Dhoni had played four games and had scored about 20 runs, and he almost got dropped from the team. Dhoni, for the 1st time ever, walked in at NO. 3. He had got set from the beginning itself. He hit many sixes and reached his 1st Ever ODI Hundred.

3. 183* Against Sri Lanka, 2005:

Dhoni had registered his highest ever ODI score in this match against Sri Lanka. He had walked in at NO. 3 and was set from the beginning. He had hit 10 SIXES!!! 10 FREAKING 6’S! Now that is a LOT! Dhoni stayed till the end of India’s innings. He had hit the finishing six of the match.`

4. 224 Against Australia, 2013:

After a disappointing Test Cricket season in 2012 for India, Dhoni was under immense pressure. Of Course, he didn’t show it cause he is… well, Dhoni. Then Australia had come to India in 2013. In this is Test, Dhoni scored his highest Test score, 224. He had shown that he was the boss. India went on to hammer Australia, winning the Test Series 4-0.
