Basic Cricketing Items Needed For A Beginner- ( Part 1)

Hello everyone! long time no see! How have all of you been you been? I haven’t posted in a long time, and I am sorry for that! Anyways, without wasting time, let’s get into the post!

Every new cricketer or I can say beginner needs to know what to buy and what not. These days kids who are 7 or 8 years old have also started their journey in the wonderful cricket world. They start going for coaching. Now, basically in this post, I will be writing about the main cricket items needed for a beginner before they start their coaching. This post is for the young kids who want to join the cricket world, but don’t know what exactly they need before they start this journey. Now let’s begin the post.

1) A Beginner Cricket Bat-

For a 7 or 8-year-old beginner, who has never been properly introduced to the cricketing world, a size 3 or 4 bat will help them, and preferably the bat should be a Kashmir willow one. I am not saying that buying English Willow is bad, but for a beginner, Kashmir willow will be both light and also not that costly.

2) Cricket Tennis Ball-

A cricket tennis ball will help them learn a few shots like you can throw the bowl under your arm and then the kid can hit a defence or drive. This was he’ll get more practice.

3) T- Cone-

A T- Cone is very important. You will anyways get all these basic items from the coach, but if you want to do extra practice then even you can get these items, from the sports shops near your house.

And of course, you need cricket gloves because you need t start getting used to that feeling of wearing the gloves, You can even buy batting inner gloves if you don’t feel comfortable wearing the gloves normally.
