What a match it was yesterday for RCB. They did extremely well to restrict GT to 205, especially after Sai Sudharsan scored a blistering century. In response, RCB came out firing, with Virat Kohli once again showing his class in a chase, scoring a brilliant 81.
There was a brief phase where GT looked like they were making a comeback, picking up a few quick wickets, but Krunal Pandya shut that down completely, finishing the game in style in just 18.5 overs

Pitch and Weather Conditions:
The Arun Jaitley Stadium pitch used to be slow and low-scoring, with few high-octane thrillers expected. But now it’s a batsman’s paradise—more batting-friendly, aided by the ground’s small dimensions that favor hitters over bowlers.
DC’s last game here was unforgettable, especially for David Miller—not due to poor play, but an absolute high-scoring thriller where he refused a single to keep Kuldeep Yadav off strike, costing them the match.
It’s a scorching day in Delhi, with temperatures hitting 41°C at 5 PM before cooling to 32°C by 11 PM. No rain expected.
Prediction:
Punjab Kings are the favourites to win this match. If you’ve seen the way they’ve played this season, it’s easy to understand why they’ve been backed in almost every game so far. PBKS have been playing a brilliant level of cricket—they have the right mix in their squad, and most importantly, they’ve been highly consistent. They also have players who are willing to take responsibility and win games for the team. Right now, Punjab look like one of the most unstoppable sides in the tournament.
The problem with Delhi is their inconsistency. They also have a solid squad, but they haven’t been able to deliver consistently. They had the perfect opportunity to carry the momentum from their win against RCB into the game against SRH, but SRH completely outplayed them. Not that SRH are an easy side to beat—they’re very dangerous—but DC had their chance to build momentum and couldn’t capitalise. In a league like this, those missed opportunities can cost you dearly.
DC do have match-winners, but their lack of consistency is hurting them right now—and that’s why PBKS go into this game with the edge.
