BACK 2 BACK TITLES FOR ROYAL CHALLENGERS BENGALURU!

Well, what a night for Royal Challengers Bengaluru, as they comfortably defeat Gujarat Titans to win the Tata IPL 2026 Final! RCB are no longer the underdogs of the IPL. They are exactly what they promised to become — attacking champions, defending champions, and now a team that will head into next season trying to achieve something no franchise in IPL history has ever achieved before: a hat-trick of titles. The only teams to have successfully defended an IPL trophy are now Chennai Super Kings, Mumbai Indians, and Royal Challengers Bengaluru.

And honestly, what a perfect way to finish the final. There was no better man to seal the victory than Bengaluru’s king and one of Indian cricket’s greatest ever players — Virat Kohli. Finishing the game off in style, under the brightest lights, on the biggest night of the season — it honestly felt poetic. Well done Virat Kohli. Well done Rajat Patidar. And Well Done Royal Challengers Bengaluru.

And for all the RCB fans- EE SALA CUP NAMDU

And now, coming to all of you reading this blog. Over the last two months, this journey has genuinely been something special for me. I have honestly never been this consistent with writing before. Last year, from around June till March, I took a long break from blogging because I had honestly started losing my love for writing. But when this IPL season began, I thought I would just cover a few CSK games and some important matches here and there, like I had done over the last five years.

But all of you changed that completely. The constant support, the people regularly reading the blog, the messages — all of it motivated me to keep writing every single day, no matter how busy life became. For 66 straight days, from March 28th till June 1st, not a single day was missed. And honestly, writing continuously for two months again made me fall in love with blogging all over again.

So genuinely, thank you. Thank you to every single one of you who took time out of your day to read my posts — not just readers from India, but people from different parts of the world too. Seeing people enjoy something I love writing about means more to me than words can describe.

Now that the IPL season has officially come to an end, SlogVlog too will be taking a short break — though definitely not as long as the previous one. We promised consistency back in March, and together, we actually achieved it. But don’t worry, after a short break, we’ll be back once again with more posts, more stories, and of course, more match previews as the international cricket summer begins, and that ladies and gentlemen is a promise.

Thank you for everything.

With all the love in the world,
SlogVlog.
