Pitch And Weather Conditions:
According to ESPNcricinfo, heavy rain in Manchester has left the Old Trafford pitch with a green color, which will make the ball bounce slower and help spin bowlers. The weather forecast shows that the morning rain should stop before 10:00 AM, leaving the match day very cloudy, windy, and cold with temperatures below 20 degrees Celsius. Even though the wet weather forced the players to practice indoors and might make the game shorter, officials still expect the match to be played and finished successfully.
Prediction:
We’re going with Australia to take the win today in Old Trafford. Australia are heavy favourites coming into the T20 World Cup and they are the most dangerous team in women’s cricket today. Beating them isn’t going to be easy, and given that they have a brilliant record against South Africa in T20, they are favourites to win this match too.
